May just waste away
from doing nothing,
some can simply
fend for themselves -
i was born an empty shell.

Still remember how
I used to go dreaming,
when i was born
might as well  give up now;
better off in bed.

Waiting under street lights
for dreams to disappear,
smoke in hand
as the lights move further away
and hallucinations begin.

Been here before
dreaming on a railway track -
can't find a way to curb the pain
there’s a trigger left
inside my brain.
